Novice/Newcomers Lifestyle Orientation: the 2nd Thursday of each calendar month, from 9:15 pm – 10:15 pm Eastern Time.  This class/discussion will be hosted in the ‘Fireside Chat’ chat room.

Please note:  Additional topics and discussions may be scheduled over the coming months when requested and when at least 5 individuals express a desire to commit to attending or actively participating in the class/discussion.  These additional topics may include, but are not limited to topics such as Dominant Training, The Gorean Lifestyle, Polyamorous (Poly) Relationships, Online (O/L – LD) Relationships.

Requests or suggestions for specific topics or subjects to be discussed or taught in any of these categories are vigorously encouraged.  To suggest or request a topic, contact either the site host (CJ), or the first girl (fire) or click on any of the Member/Visitor support icons located throughout the Asj web site.

Door Prizes - Occasionally the Asj Community announces door prizes to be awarded to a random member(s) attending one or more of the hosted classes/discussions.  Unless specifically stated otherwise in the discussion announcement on the Asj calendar, door prizes will not be awarded when less than 4 individuals (excluding the site host, first girl or room moderator) are in attendance.

We hope over the coming months you’ll join us for our discussions and classes. Check the site calendar for more information regarding each of these discussions.  As of this writing, the site calendar has not yet been updated to reflect these changes, I do expect it will be updated shortly.  I look forward to your active participation in the Asj community over the coming summer months.

Asj has long recognized the various styles or forms of Power Exchange Relationships.  Included in these is the Gorean (Gor) lifestyle.  Although originally based on a series of science fiction books by John Norma, modified a bit to allow for reality, Gor is a very viable form of the Lifestyle, both online and off.  Gor is considered to be a very black or white type structure, filled with protocols, traditions and rules.  It is also considered to be very sensual.  A girls obedience and loyalty in Gor is considered to be absolute. Asj’s Gorean Community is referred to as “The Sanctuary Vidrew” (SV).  If your interest is towards Gor, we invite you to visit the Gorean sections in the Library and to visit the SV Chat Room.

In BDSM different toys may have different purposes than you might think at first guess.  As an example, most would think a ‘gag” is obviously for silencing a girl.  Did you know a ‘Ball Gag’ actually isn’t very useful to silence a submissive/bottom?

A ball gag's purpose is more of humiliation rather than silence; the wearer can still be heard, but it renders their speech completely unintelligible, distorts their facial features, and, should the wearer attempt to talk, excessive drooling will result.

As you begin to use various toys, try to learn a little bit about them and how they are best used before you use them.
